My name is Jorge Medeiros, I originally started working in concrete back in 1981. I come from a family of masons, my late father was an accomplished mason, he took great pride in his work and was very meticulous in his work, and my father in-law was also a mason/concrete contractor. I originally worked for my father-in-law Jose Gaipo, (Jose Gaipo Masonry, which was established in 1974) I guess that when I married his daughter I also married the concrete business. In the late 1980's I became a full partner in the business and the business name was changed accordingly to Gaipo & Medeiros Concrete. Eventually in the 1990's my father-in-law retired from the business and I went on my own under the current business name(Jorge Medeiros Concrete Finishing). We are a very small family owned and operated concrete flatwork company. Our business has evolved from the traditional plain concrete finishes to include the more modern finishes including colored concrete and decorative/stamped concrete, which has a much more appealing appearance.
